A lineup of famous swords

おなじみの名刀から
蔵に眠っていた名刀まで。
What kind of sword do you think of when you hear the word "famous sword"?
Is it a sword designated as a national treasure or important cultural property? Was it owned by a famous warlord? Is it a sword that is regularly featured in exhibitions?
On the other hand, there are also some famous swords that have rarely been seen by the public.
They have not been designated as cultural properties, and the names of their creators are not widely known. They may have been lying dormant in a storehouse for many years, or kept in the treasury of a private collector.
This exhibition will feature a wide range of fascinating works, from famous swords to sword fittings that are often used as supporting roles. Please feel free to come and enjoy, from sword enthusiasts to those who are seeing swords for the first time.
