PANTANA A sanctuary for animals woven by clear streams

Born in the Pantanal
Raised in the Pantanal
Return to the Pantanal.
The Pantanal, located in the center of South America, is one of the world's largest tropical wetlands.
Most of it is in Brazil, with parts in Bolivia and Paraguay. Its scale is comparable to the size of Honshu, Japan, and most of the Brazilian side is registered as a World Heritage Site as the "Pantanal Conservation Area." This rare large wetland, which shows dramatic changes between the rainy and dry seasons, is one of the world's leading treasure troves of life, with a diverse range of wildlife.
Mitsuaki Iwago, a world-renowned animal photographer, captures the ecology of a wide variety of creatures, including jaguars, capybaras, and Paraguayan caiman. Through approximately 100 impressive works, including some that are over 2 meters in size, the film conveys the brilliance of life woven by the clear streams.
