we present newly donated swords to the museum.

・ Important Art Object, Tachi, signed “Inshū-jū Kagenaga”, Kamakura–Nanbokuchō period
With: Uchigatana Mounting with Waxed Scabbard
・ Katana, signed “Yoshisuke”, Muromachi period
・ Katana, signed “On Nanki Shigekuni kore o tsukuru”, Edo period

 

■■Permanent Display of Buddhist Sculptures

・ Important Cultural Property, Seated Dainichi Nyorai, Heian period
・Important Art Object , Standing Zaō Gongen, Heian period
・Figure of a Deva (Tenbu)

 

* Gallery Talk by Volunteer Guides (Buddhist Sculpture)
A gallery talk will be held in the Collection Room from 11:00 for approximately one hour.
