Beginner’s Course on Japanese Swords
Lecturer: Maki Sumi (Former Curator, Sano Art Museum)
Venue: Lecture Room, Sano Art Museum
Qualifications:Participants must be members of the Muse Club, the Supporting Association of the Sano Art Museum.
Schedule:
April 2026 – March 2027
Sessions held on the 4th Saturday of each month (December 2026 on the 3rd Saturday)
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Total of 12 sessions
Tuition: 132,000 yen (tax included, for all 12 sessions)
Eligibility / Target Participants:
This course is intended for those who are beginning their study of Japanese swords.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of Japanese swords.

Afterward, kindly review the application form, complete the required details, and send it by post to the Sano Art Museum.
