Focusing on master Japanese Swords from the Sano Art Museum and the Tokugawa Art Museum, this exhibition explores the fascination of Japanese Swords from multiple perspectives. In addition to highlighting key points of appreciation—such as form, jigane (steel surface), hamon (temper pattern), and polishing—it also introduces the cultural dimensions of swords, including rituals, attire, and other ceremonial contexts.
